When someone says branding, you might just think of a logo, but there’s a little more to it. It’s about creating a strong, positive perception of your company.
It’s your look. Your name, logo, colors, tagline, fonts, and imagery reflect your brand. Keep these things in mind as you post to social media, create graphics, and respond to your customers. The way to get you potential customers to recognize you is to be consistent in how you present yourself to them.
It’s your personality. This is what companies are known for. Chic-fil-a is known for its polite employees and quick service. Apple is known for its innovation. Figure out what it is you want to be known for and be consistent with it.
It’s your story. People support companies that they connect with. How does one connect with a company? Their story. How did your organization start? What did you have to overcome? Connect with your customers by embracing and sharing your story.
Your logo is an important part of your brand, but when creating or representing your company, think about what you want to be known for, and your story. Share this with your customer base and be consistent.
